Engineering Manager, Platform

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor 15–20 platform engineers across infra, identity, security, apps
• Guide senior and staff engineers on architecture, scalability, security, reliability
• Own the roadmap for platform systems: AWS infra, identity, security tooling
• Establish incident response, on-call rotations, SLAs, and observability
• Champion security-first thinking and compliance with SOC 2 and GDPR
• Drive platform engineering hiring and onboarding with recruiting and leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in platform engineering, infra, backend, or security with AWS and auth
• 4+ years managing engineering teams at high-growth SaaS firms; cross-domain leadership
• Deep understanding of cloud infra, identity/auth, security, and observability; SOC 2 & ISO 27001 knowledge
• Proven track record delivering complex infra migrations and security initiatives while reliability
• Excellent communication translating infra/security concepts for product teams and leadership
• Background in security engineering and identity platforms (AWS Cognito, WorkOS, Auth0, Okta)
