Engineering Manager - Mercury Accounting

📋 Description

• Lead a team of 6+ engineers, managing performance and hiring.
• Define architecture for ingesting financial data from hundreds of sources.
• Collaborate with designers, product leaders, and cross-functional teams on the Accounting roadmap.
• Partner with other engineering teams to maximize product cohesion and simplicity.
• Own the Accounting team's product strategy and roadmap.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of engineering management leading full-stack product teams, including AI-enabled projects.
• Experience making architecture decisions and tradeoffs; monolithic and microservices a plus.
• Strong ownership; engineers as product owners; fintech/accounting or AI experience preferred.
• Comfort leading discussions in ambiguous areas, with empathy, and driving outcomes across teams.
