Engineering Manager (Insurance)

📋 Description

• Lead an engineering team inside the insurance platform delivering real-time coverage and payments.
• Own end-to-end delivery; co-own the roadmap with your PM.
• Set architectural direction; make build-vs-buy decisions and reliability targets.
• Coordinate cross-functional with benefits, eligibility, claims, billing, partnerships, data platform.
• Maintain operational health: incident response and on-call planning.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer and builder.
• 2+ years of experience managing engineers.
• Built systems other teams depend on at meaningful scale (APIs, pipelines, services).
• Comfortable pairing with engineers and owning design decisions; active contributor.
• Experience partnering with operations or support teams to build tooling for scale.
• Bonus: healthcare/insurance domain experience; production ML or data-platform fluency; scale-up.
