Engineering Manager, Identity Frontend

📋 Description

• Lead the Identity Frontend Pod; oversee frontend engineers for login, sign-up, account settings, and security flows.
• Own major initiatives: mobile sign-in performance, transfer protections, and multi-entity org account mgmt UI.
• Coordinate across backend identity teams and product groups to unblock dependencies and speed shipping.
• Maintain reliability and quality for production apps (on-call health, deployments, incident response).
• Improve testing infrastructure enabling continuous deployment and high test coverage.
• Partner with Talent to hire, coach, and retain frontend engineers and align with security/product teams.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years engineering management experience, ideally leading frontend or full-stack product teams.
• Strong technical fluency in modern frontend development — React, React Native, TypeScript, testing infra, and web performance optimization.
• Track record shipping high-quality, high-traffic user experiences at scale; strong UX focus.
• Experience managing cross-functional dependencies and coordinating across backend, design, and product teams.
• Strong communication skills; able to build alignment across teams and translate product vision into technical execution.
• Demonstrates responsible use of generative AI tools and copilots with human-in-the-loop practices to improve efficiency, cost, and quality.
• Nice to have: background in identity, authentication, security UX; mobile-first or hybrid experiences; familiarity with passkeys, WebAuthn, OAuth.
