📋 Description

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers in Paris and France.
• Translate observability needs into clear strategies, roadmaps, and OKRs.
• Drive delivery of cross-org initiatives at Datadog scale.
• Review designs and PRs; set reliability, observability, and security standards.
• Improve SLOs, on-call practices, automation, and runbooks.
• Design tooling and best practices to reduce internal friction.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in software or systems engineering with large-scale distributed systems.
• 2–3 years as a people manager or technical leader with mentorship.
• Hands-on SRE/observability: metrics, logs, traces, telemetry pipelines.
• Lead ambiguous cross-functional work and turn problems into action.
• Strong operational background with on-call experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and English communication.
