Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• Lead and empower a team of engineers, fostering collaboration and ownership.
• Lead architecture decisions for scalable data processing on GCP.
• Drive data ingestion, processing, and storage strategy.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and other Engineering Managers on roadmaps.
• Oversee production monitoring, incident response, and blameless post-mortems.
• Own SDLC execution aligned with the product roadmap and release management.

🎯 Requirements

• Educational background in CS or Engineering.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Git Workflows, CI/CD.
• 10+ years of hands-on software engineering with leadership, remote.
• 3-5+ years of engineering management leading data/infrastructure teams.
• Experience with Golang, Relational Databases, Google Cloud Bigtable or similar NoSQL stores.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Proficient in RESTful API design, GRPC, and message queues (Pub/Sub, Kafka).
• Experience with GCP services (Bigtable, GKE, Cloud Functions, IAM).
