📋 Description

• Lead the Bill Pay engineering team across delivery, operations, and people development.
• Partner with Product to commit quarterly plans and deliver with operational rigor.
• Balance near-term delivery with remediation of legacy tech debt in bill pay.
• Own observability, monitoring, and operational follow-through for team systems.
• Raise team effectiveness through clear feedback, standards, and development.
• Act as a strong counterpart to stakeholders; communicate risk with context and options.

• Engineering management experience delivering with cross-functional leadership.
• Technical credibility to lead engineers in a full-stack domain.
• Experience planning and meeting quarterly commitments, managing risk.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management; push back constructively.
• Exposure to payments or accounting workflows is helpful.
• Practical curiosity about AI tools and applying them to workflows.
