📋 Description

• Set the technical vision for Lyft's AI integrations with third-party agents and new hardware.
• Co-own product strategy with partners; ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Lead engineers on LLM integrations and multimodal inputs (voice, vision).
• Mentor engineers' growth and assign projects.
• Build collaborative, inclusive, high-performing teams.
• Provide feedback, address performance, recognize strengths.
• Create plans to prioritize technical and resourcing challenges.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years managing engineering teams.
• Experience architecting, building, and scaling distributed systems.
• Experience launching consumer products and leading backend/ML teams; Applied AI/LLM/multimodal experience a plus.
• Experience leading engineers and guiding their career development.
• Collaborative, results-driven; committed to completing projects.
• Motivate and foster ownership in your team.
• Experience guiding planning, prioritization, and execution of work.
