Lead and grow a team building the Brex Assistant’s conversational experience.
Guide the team through complex technical challenges while coding and designing.
Own delivery of the Assistant roadmap; decide on agent capabilities.
Ensure reliability, correctness, and UX in non-deterministic agentic systems.
Partner with Product, Design, and other eng teams to integrate with Brex workflows.
Establish team norms and execution standards balancing speed and quality.

🎯 Requirements

Proven experience leading engineering teams building user-facing products in complex domains.
Strong product judgment with a track record of hard tradeoffs and outcomes.
Experience building/operating reliable systems under messy inputs and non-determinism.
Ability to translate goals into technical direction and execution plans; mentor engineers.
