Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• Lead the CommCare core team to build, run, and scale the platform.
• Manage a globally distributed team of ~6 engineers with coaching and reviews.
• Align with product leadership to ship features on schedule and maintain security.
• Design and improve the team’s workflows, ceremonies, and release planning.
• Foster culture and engagement through collaborative, purposeful meetings.
• Partner with senior directors and product designers on roadmaps and delivery.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years experience managing software engineers.
• Track record of owning roadmaps and shipping on time.
• Experience writing specs, running sprint ceremonies, and partnering with product leadership.
• Empathetic leadership and coaching for career development.
• Experience working in async, globally distributed teams.
• Comfortable in technical conversations about Python, Django, Postgres, Android, AWS.
