Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• Coaching and developing your direct reports to improve both technical and non-technical skills
• Advocating on your team’s behalf to manage workload and work-life balance while maintaining deadlines
• Working closely with our Engineering Director and VP to set longer term strategic direction for your team and our product suite
• Driving execution for your team by owning planning, prioritization, and delivery, while continuously removing obstacles and improving how work gets done
• Owning your team's outcomes end-to-end. When plans break, priorities shift, or production issues arise, you don't wait for permission to act

🎯 Requirements

• A strong desire to help others succeed; thrives as a people manager.
• Track record of leveling up reports and providing meaningful opportunities to flourish.
• Willing to roll up sleeves and contribute technically when needed.
• Experience with hiring, sourcing candidates, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Solid track record delivering projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• 2+ years in software engineering management with at least 4 direct reports.
