📋 Description

  • Support alumina ceramics research: literature review, material selection, characterization.
  • Assist ceramic testing: specimen prep, mechanical tests, microstructure analysis.
  • Contribute to kiln optimization: thermal analysis (TGA/DTG), DOE, data collection.
  • Research processing technologies and compile analyses for ERI roadmap.
  • Perform data analysis and prepare clear research summaries and technical reports.
  • Collaborate with design, testing/validation, and manufacturing teams.

🎯 Requirements

  • Pursuing Master’s or PhD in Materials Science/Engineering or Ceramic Eng.
  • Foundational knowledge of alumina ceramics, processing, and mechanics.
  • Familiar with hardness, density, microstructure, MOR, and Young’s modulus.
  • Proficient with data analysis; Excel required; Python or MATLAB a plus.
  • Exposure to SEM/XRD is a plus.
  • Strong research, writing, and collaborative skills.
