Engineering Coach - Health Tech Researchers (Director/VP+)

📋 Description

• Provide 1:1 coaching to Mento members via virtual sessions using the Mento Platform and Tools
• Participate in ongoing training sessions to improve coaching abilities
• Communicate with members via Mento email or chat in the Mento App between sessions
• Share coaching tools and insights to enhance practices and empower members
• Act with kindness, respect, and empathy as an ambassador of the Mento community
• Commit to a minimum of 12+ hours per month to coaching at Mento for 24+ months

🎯 Requirements

• Director/VP or senior engineering leader with 15+ years leading AI/ML or health-tech research teams.
• Strong technical researcher or engineering manager with AI/ML, large-scale modeling, CS or math sciences.
• Publications, patents, and/or a PhD are preferred.
• Wants to turn people leadership skills into meaningful coaching skills.
• Passionate about helping people advance in the workplace.
• Self-aware with high emotional IQ and a safe space for vulnerability.

🎁 Benefits

• Fully remote contract position.
• Paid per hour with select bonuses for engagement.
• Must commit 3–5 hours per week.
• Minimum 24 months with members.
• Participation in our ICF-certified coaching training program.
• Continuing Coach Education Units upon graduation.
