Engineer II

📋 Description

• Design and implement full-stack features from concept to deployment.
• Contribute to technical design and architecture focused on scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Deliver high-quality, well-tested code; engage in peer reviews and pair programming.
• Own features end-to-end: monitor in production, diagnose issues, and iterate.
• Participate in on-call rotation; troubleshoot issues and maintain platform health.
• Identify blockers early to keep timelines on track.
• Uphold engineering standards (linting, testing, docs) for high-quality development.
• Collaborate with BAs, Designers, and other teams in a cross-functional environment.
• Refactor and modernize high-value codebases to improve platform health.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years as a professional software developer.
• Clear technical communication and documentation skills.
• Preferred experience in Python and ReactJS.
• Strong understanding of SQL, ORMs, and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with microservices or strong understanding of their architecture.
• Proven ability to generalize a feature to widen platform impact.
• Comfortable working independently in a complex codebase; scaling up on Python if needed.
• Knowledge of how to iterate on a feature to keep delivery consistent.
• Interested in mentoring and fostering individual growth within the team.
• Able to communicate technical needs and solutions clearly to product partners.
