Energy and Environmental Services Equity Specialist

📋 Description

• Lead Phase II of the Health Equity Zones project in Orange County.
• Identify pollution sources and social inequities around CAP OC sites.
• Contextualize urban development behind disparities and energy burdens.
• Build a historical analysis of OC; conduct cross-functional surveys.
• Develop GIS maps using ArcGIS to visualize findings.
• Present findings to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Hybrid role with onsite work 4 days/week.

• Comfortable working with a culturally diverse population.
• Experience with community outreach and advocacy.
• Strong knowledge of climate change and environmental justice.
• Effective verbal and written communication; adaptable to audiences.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively; strong time management.
• Authorization to work in the United States; SEI cannot sponsor visas.
