Employment Counsel Manager

📋 Description

• Provide employment law guidance to HR and business partners.
• Advise on employee relations, leaves, wage/hour, immigration, covenants.
• Draft and counsel on employment documents: contracts, offers letters, agreements.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Lead employment-law projects, including policy creation and training.
• Support pre-litigation and litigation; coordinate with outside counsel.

🎯 Requirements

• JD from a top-tier law school.
• Minimum 3 years labor/employment experience at a national firm or tech company; CA a plus.
• Experience providing employment advice and litigating matters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, holidays as needed.
• Knowledge of sports/regulatory industries a plus.
