Advise People team on U.S. compensation, benefits, leaves, and contractor issues
Implement compliant employment programs to drive high performance
Draft guidance and policies translating employment law for stakeholders
Proactively identify and mitigate employment legal risks
Liaise with outside counsel as needed
Role-specific policy: staff must work from NY or DC office 3 days per week

🎯 Requirements

J.D. from an accredited law school and active U.S. state bar
Substantial employment-law experience with both law firm and in-house
Ability to provide clear, practical guidance to non-lawyers on complex matters
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple matters
Sound judgment, integrity, and collaborative, solutions oriented
