Employment & Litigation Counsel

📋 Description

• Serve as primary legal advisor to People on multi-jurisdictional employment issues.
• Draft and review employment-related agreements (offers, letters, separations, terms).
• Partner with Senior Counsel on litigation, pre-litigation, and regulatory matters.
• Assist in fact finding, discovery, research, pleadings, and negotiations.
• Provide risk assessments and develop litigation strategies aligned with business.
• Develop templates, policies, and procedures to promote compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. or foreign equivalent; admitted to a U.S. state bar (New York preferred).
• 5+ years in US employment law and/or litigation, in-house or top law firm.
• Strong knowledge of US federal, state and local employment laws.
• Comfortable working internationally; experience outside the US (e.g., Ireland, Portugal a plus).
• Excellent communication skills and sound business judgment.
• Flexible, creative problem-solver in fast-paced settings.
