๐Ÿ“‹ Description

  • Perform EMC/EMI emission and immunity testing of electrical systems and components.
  • Read, interpret, and work from free-form drawings as well as from controlled documentation and processes.
  • Design and fabricate electro-mechanical assemblies, harnesses and test fixtures from conceptual drawings.
  • Operate a spectrum analyzer, VNA, power meter, high-power amplifier, and oscilloscope.
  • Perform antenna and shielding effectiveness measurements.
  • Independently verify results and document clearly and completely.
  • Troubleshoot complex problems independently with minimal direction.
  • Support engineers and test management with standardized testing and R&D projects.
  • Maintain test equipment and test facilities and oversee the equipment calibration process.

๐ŸŽฏ Requirements

  • Associate's degree in electronics or 2+ years of electronics experience.
  • 2+ years of experience performing testing of consumer electronics or electrical hardware.
  • 2+ years of experience fabricating test fixtures, harnesses or electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • FCC Part 15/25, EN55032/24/35, MIL-STD-461/464.
  • Experience in a fast-paced test environment with flight hardware.
  • Able to support R&D efforts in addition to standardized testing.
  • Familiarity with semi-anechoic chamber specs/design/maintenance.
  • Lab accreditation experience (ISO/IEC 17025, A2LA, NVLAP).
  • Able to adapt to changing assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Python scripting for test logging and control.
  • Draft fixtures, tools, structures, and CAD schematics.
  • Troubleshoot unit and test rack issues with little supervision.
  • Author and redline test procedures and build documents.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and teamwork.
  • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and drawings.
  • Repetitive assembly, lifting, bending, and related tasks.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. unassisted.
  • Extended hours/weekend work may be required.
  • Able to travel for short trips as needed.
  • ITAR: U.S. citizen/national or eligible for required authorizations.
