The ideal candidate will have a background in selling, supporting or implementing financial-oriented technology solutions to mid-to-large sized companies. This position requires the ability to effectively communicate with Finance, Accounts Payable, Spend and Travel professionals through individual conversations, group presentations and strategic, value-based demonstrations. Internal collaboration will be expected across the sales, implementation and product organizations.
What You Will Do
- Prepare and conduct tailored solution demonstrations, ensuring alignment with prospect requirements and Emburse’s exemplary demonstration flow.
- Deliver engaging onsite and remote presentations and demonstrations of Emburse products.
- Work with senior executives on co-developing business cases and will tailor solution presentations to showcase Expense Intelligence and T&E business transformation.
- Provide comprehensive technical insight into our product, with the ability to discuss product architecture, security, and integration capabilities.
- Contribute to the creation of training materials and support the adoption of new features and functionalities.
- Assist with the completion of RFPs, Security Questionnaires, and Sandbox/POC setups.
- Partner with the sales team to identify the most effective approach that will result in the prospect preferring and buying from Emburse versus the competition.
- Meet targeted performance objectives with a consistently positive attitude.
- Work across various industries or verticals, and manage complex customer situations with multiple products.
What You Will Bring
- Proven record of success in Pre-Sales, Solutions Consulting, or Sales Engineering, ideally with 3+ years previous experience in a Pre-Sales, Solutions Consulting or Sales Engineering role with a B2b SaaS organization
- Enterprise software selling or management consulting
- Proficiency in software demonstration techniques and tools, such as Demo2Win and storytelling, to effectively communicate and demonstrate the Emburse product value to prospects; proficiency in tools such as Consensus, Vivun, and Highspot is considered a plus
- Passion around AI (or AI experience) is a plus.
- A strong command of advanced selling methodologies, including MEDDPICC, Gap Selling, Demo2Win, and Selling based on Business Value.
- 3+ years experience in selling, supporting or implementing SaaS solutions with Subject Matter Expertise in dealing with global organizations across various regions
- Strong presentation skills, both online and in-person with technical acumen and the ability to lead technical discussions and articulate financial business solutions
- Knowledge of expense reporting, accounts payable invoicing highly preferred
- Available for 50% travel with weeklong duration, with the availability to assist onsite at trade shows, user conferences, and sales meetings as necessary
