- Work within the control team to integrate embedded software with a modern C++ autonomy stack.
- Interact with autonomy planning/control software, embedded layer software, and vehicle platform commands.
- Develop software influencing on-road behavior: mode, fault management, and health monitoring.
- Work with interfaces including embedded system simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and vehicle testing.
- Build tools to automate testing/analysis of the control subsystem for safety coverage standards.
- Develop in Linux and RTOS embedded environments.
🎯 Requirements
- Experience in software development using modern robotics frameworks
- Proficient in C/C++ and Python, including embedded apps
- Knowledge of software architecture design best practices
- Familiarity with CAN and TCP/IP networking
- Working knowledge of software analysis, linting, and testing tools
- Desirable: Experience in regulated/safety-critical environments and familiarity with automotive/robotics control systems
