Embedded Software Engineer, OS/Platform (Starshield)

📋 Description

• Develop software from boot loaders to mission-critical logic on Linux-based platforms.
• Bring up space-grade silicon, including SoC and peripherals.
• Build infra/tools for rapid development and testing across OS/platform layers.
• Own full lifecycle: development, testing, and support.
• Maintain in-house OSS (Linux, Buildroot, U-Boot); support secure boot.
• Interface with Silicon, Electrical, and Software teams to move hardware to orbit.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS/engineering or 2+ years software dev exp in lieu of degree.
• C, C++, Python, or Rust development experience.
• Experience with ARM embedded systems.
• Experience with TCP/UDP networking protocols.
• Linux kernel experience and secure boot flows.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret/SCI clearance.
