Ellevest was founded by Wall Street veteran, Sallie Krawcheck. Before Ellevest, Krawcheck was one of the only financial executives of her generation to have held C-suite roles at the largest global banks — as CEO of Merrill Lynch, Smith Barney, US Trust, and Sanford Bernstein and as CFO of Citi. As a venture-funded business, we’ve beat impossibly long odds to raise $145 million in venture capital funding (women CEOs raise $1 out of every $10,000 Series B fintech dollars). About This Position
As a Client Experience Associate, you will provide first touch responses to clients across multiple channels including email, phone, chat, and text. You will support the Client Experience team by providing exceptional service to our clients. You are a fast learner, with strong communication skills and a creative, problem solving attitude. You are passionate about our mission to get more money in the hands of more women, and you are excited to share that passion with Ellevest clients.
This is a part-time, fully remote opportunity. We will provide the equipment and training you need to be successful, we just ask you to reserve a quiet place at home to work (with WiFi) and bring an optimistic attitude.
You will have a flexible schedule based on your availability and the needs of the team, but may have the opportunity to work up to 20 hours per week as your availability allows and company needs require.Day-to-day you will:
- Act as the front line and voice of Ellevest assisting clients with inquiries such as:
- Onboarding or offboarding
- Troubleshooting issues related to account setup like linking a bank account or setting up deposits
- Assisting clients with resetting their account password or similar technical issues
- Explaining how Ellevest works, how to get started, or what services we offer
- Efficiently solve inquiries from Ellevest clients via email, phone, text, and chat
- Support Ellevest clients by providing exceptional service
- Proactively identify trends, troubleshoot and escalate issues as appropriate, and share client feedback
- Identify opportunities for growth and process improvement
We’re looking for:
- Exceptional communication skills across various channels including email, phone, chat, and text; prior customer service experience is a plus!
- A detail-oriented, organized approach to work with strong follow-through and ownership of tasks
- Team player attitude and you are committed to learning from others
- Ability to efficiently work in a fast-paced, high volume environment
- Proficiency with (and excitement about) learning new technologies, systems, and processes

Ellevest's compensation framework is based on relevant data, benchmarking and research for comparable companies and on our internal pay equity policies. The hourly rate for this position is $20/hour. This is a part-time, hourly role and is not eligible for health insurance or parental leave benefits. Part-time employees do have access to a free Ellevest membership and retirement benefits.
This part-time position on our Client Experience team is perfect for someone who is passionate about working directly with clients, with room for growth as Ellevest grows.
