- Proactively identify participants due for Medi-Cal redetermination
- Educate and assist participants with completing forms, ensuring signatures
- Conduct home visits to complete forms when necessary
- Obtain documentation required for eligibility determination/redetermination
- Complete and file applications with follow-ups to ensure timely processing
- Maintain relationship with DPSS to ensure DHCS and CMS compliance
🎯 Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Minimum of 3 years Medi-Cal/Medicaid enrollment experience, incl. share of cost & appeals
- Experience working with county DPSS on Medi-Cal enrollments
- In-depth experience with complex Medi-Cal enrollment case management and rules
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable speaking to seniors in a caring manner
