Our client is a global leader in pharmaceutical and laboratory equipment, headquartered in Germany. Their products and services empower pharmaceutical researchers and laboratory professionals by streamlining workflows, minimizing human error, and accelerating critical R&D initiatives.

ELEKS is partnering with the client to develop cutting-edge software solutions that support biopharma process automation, including drug and vaccine manufacturing. Our engineering teams have already contributed to several applications aimed at optimizing the transition from development to full-scale production.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 7+ years of proven experience in IT project management
  • Fluent (native-level) German and advanced English communication skills
  • Solid experience withFixed-Price Projects (FPP)
  • Hands-on experience withSAFe(Scaled Agile Framework)
  • Strong background in managingmid-size to large-scale projects
  • Practical knowledge of theEarned Value Management (EVM)model
  • Proficient inAgile methodologiesandWaterfallproject management
  • Familiarity with thePMBOK Guideand project management best practices
  • Deep understanding ofIT systemsandsoftware development life cycles
  • Strong understanding ofproject financials: profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, and resource utilization
  • Excellentwritten and verbal communicationskills
  • Professional certifications(e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe) would be a strong advantage
  • Willingness totravel regularly to Göttingen, Germany

  • Monitor project budgets (where applicable), ensuring efficient use of the investment
  • Confidently remediate at risk or underperforming projects in collaboration with project teams
  • Define project success criteria and communicate success criteria throughout the project life cycle
  • Conduct lessons learned and produce recommendations for future projects
  • Set and effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders
  • Identify and resolve conflicts within a project team
  • Motivate project resources and empower them to take accountability for their assigned tasks
