- Conduct assembly and fabrication of electrical, electronic, and mechanical components.
- Operate mechanical machinery, calibration equipment, power tools, and electronic tools.
- Perform routine work with limited/no supervision.
- Take on new assignments with general instructions.
- Apply industry knowledge to programs/projects for successful completion.
- Work onsite 5 days/week with additional hours as required.
๐ฏ Requirements
- Education: High School Degree Required; electronics education program or apprenticeship preferred.
- Licenses & Certifications: Active Secret Clearance or interim clearance required; J-STD/IPC610/620 preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years as electrical technician in defense; soldering/rework; electronic diagnostic tools.
- Technical knowledge: Electronic assembly fabrication; design of electronic systems and components.
- Lean manufacturing: Knowledge of 5S and Lean Manufacturing concepts.
- Skills: Excellent written/verbal communication; ability to work independently; coordinate with engineering/QA; work with various levels of personnel; MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
