Electromagnetic Effects Test Engineer

📋 Description

• Conduct pre-compliance testing and third-party certification per IEC/EN/CISPR/FCC.
• Ensure EMI/EMC and radio requirements are met in designs.
• Design, build, and operate a full EMC test facility (10 m chamber).
• Obtain and maintain lab accreditation (A2LA/NVLAP); calibrate equipment.
• Interface with design teams across Starlink products; set EMC requirements.
• Generate test plans and reports; troubleshoot EMI from board to system.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related field.
• 1+ years hardware-focused test engineering experience (internships ok).
• 3+ years in E3 with EMI/EMC and RF requirements, analysis, design, and testing.
• CISPR/FCC Radio and EMC standards experience.
• EMC lab experience including accreditation, maintenance and calibration.
• EMC test automation proficiency (TILE!) and managing EMC technicians.
