- Support pre-compliance and 3rd party testing for IEC/EN/CISPR/FCC and DO160G.
- Ensure designs meet EMI/EMC and radio requirements.
- Operate and automate EMI, RF test equipment including EMC chambers.
- Develop and maintain calibration of lab equipment for compliance testing.
- Interface with design teams across Starlink products to set requirements.
- Perform EMC design and analysis including grounding and shielding.
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related engineering discipline
- 1+ years of hardware-focused electrical engineering or EMC engineering experience (internships and project experience applicable)
- 3+ years of E3 work experience including EMI/EMC and RF requirements, analysis, design, and testing
- HFSS, CST or similar electromagnetic simulation tools experience
- Experience with CISPR/FCC Radio and EMC standards
- EMC lab experience including accreditation, maintenance and calibration
- TILE or equivalent EMC test automation proficiency
- Experience performing EMC testing
- Reading schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs, wiring diagrams, CAD software
- ITAR: US citizen/national or eligible for required authorizations
