- Provide technical support for electrical system operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability.
- Primary shore-side escalation point for complex electrical, automation, navigation, and related system issues.
- Plan and oversee electrical maintenance, drydock work, repairs, and upgrade projects.
- Ensure compliance with Class, Flag State, SOLAS, USCG, and SMS requirements.
- Maintain technical records; support audits and investigations; report vessel condition and risks.
- Support purchasing, budgeting, vendor coordination, and project execution for assigned vessels.
๐ฏ Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or maritime qualification preferred.
- Chief Electrical Officer certification or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience supporting electrical systems on passenger vessels or similar maritime environments.
- Strong knowledge of marine electrical systems, safety practices, PM systems, and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.
