Electrical Superintendent

📋 Description

• Provide technical support for electrical system operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability.
• Primary shore-side escalation point for complex electrical, automation, navigation, and related system issues.
• Plan and oversee electrical maintenance, drydock work, repairs, and upgrade projects.
• Ensure compliance with Class, Flag State, SOLAS, USCG, and SMS requirements.
• Maintain technical records; support audits and investigations; report vessel condition and risks.
• Support purchasing, budgeting, vendor coordination, and project execution for assigned vessels.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or maritime qualification preferred.
• Chief Electrical Officer certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience supporting electrical systems on passenger vessels or similar maritime environments.
• Strong knowledge of marine electrical systems, safety practices, PM systems, and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.
