Electrical Hardware Engineer

📋 Description

• Design electrical systems for spacecraft avionics (flight computers, power, guidance, sensors, comms).
• Participate in schematic capture and PCB layout with senior engineers.
• Assist in bring-up, testing, and validation of new hardware.
• Collaborate with software engineers on hardware/software integration and testing.
• Build and test early hardware prototypes to evaluate concepts and mitigate risks.
• Work cross-functionally with mechanical, software, systems, and production teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Prefer but don’t require a B.S. or M.S. in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 0-3 years of hardware engineering experience; internships/projects ok.
• Familiarity with basic components, circuits, and test gear (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies).
• Exposure to schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium, Cadence/Orcad).
• Understanding of microcontroller basics and UART, SPI, I2C interfaces.
• Strong problem-solving and hands-on engineering mindset.
