📋 Description

• Own key electrical architecture for compact robotics systems.
• Design and implement compact electronics: circuit design, PCB layout, bring-up, validation.
• Build hardware in integrated robotic systems; drive root-cause analysis and fixes.
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, software, controls, manufacturing, and research teams.
• Make thoughtful tradeoffs across performance, size, power, reliability, manufacturability.
• Based in San Francisco, requires in-person presence 4 days/week.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in electrical systems for robotics or tight electromechanical products.
• Own hardware from concept through PCB layout, bring-up, validation, deployment.
• Design compact, high-density electronics for tight mechanical constraints.
• Experience with BGAs, rigid-flex, fine-pitch interconnects, micro-coax, FPCs.
• Reason across electrical, firmware, and mechanical boundaries in design decisions.
• Own loosely defined problems and deliver working systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to realize product goals.
• Familiarity with bring-up, test, or diagnostic firmware in C/C++/Rust/Python.
