Electrical Engineer II

📋 Description

• Join a team of electrical engineers building Aurora's custom hardware electronics.
• Define HW architecture, model, and deliver electronics meeting performance metrics.
• Build, test, and debug electronics on bench and in systems with test equipment.
• Collaborate with mechanical/ops/validation teams to mature designs for manufacturing and testing.
• Leverage product development expertise and a track record of launching products.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in electrical or computer engineering.
• 3+ years’ experience developing complex electrical hardware.
• System architecture, signal/power integrity, high-speed signaling, grounding, analog electronics.
• Balance electro-mechanical and EMI/EMC constraints.
• Hardware productization at system, board, and chip levels.
• CAD tools for schematics, PCB layout, power/signal simulation.
• Lab instruments: oscilloscopes, analyzers, DMMs, power supplies, E-loads.
• Experience with custom sensor development and/or network design.
• Automotive safety: ISO26262 knowledge.
• Rapid prototyping and design for manufacturing.
• Programming in C++ and Python.
• FPGA/ASIC design experience.
