  • Design and model mechanical components for motors/gearboxes using 3D CAD.
  • Create 2D drawings and assembly instructions using GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
  • Design, model, and source parts for custom test stands to validate propulsion.
  • Assist setup and execution of development tests; install sensors and run scripts.
  • Post-process test data and write technical reports documenting results.
  • Support prototyping and assembly of propulsion units with technicians.

🎯 Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Mechatronics (2nd/3rd year).
  • Parametric 3D CAD: Siemens NX, SolidWorks, or CATIA; NX preferred.
  • Familiar with GD&T and ASME Y14.5 drawing concepts.
  • Basic Python or MATLAB, or advanced Excel for data analysis.
  • Hands-on prototyping: 3D printing, machining, or university teams (FSAE, Solar Car, Rocketry).
  • Core mechanical eng concepts: statics, dynamics, MoM, basic thermodynamics.
