📋 Description

  • Own end-to-end mechanical propulsion hardware design, analysis, testing, and on-orbit life cycle.
  • Lead hardware from concept through high-volume production and on-orbit operation for Starlink.
  • Collaborate with thermal, materials, electrical, mechanical, software and GNC teams.
  • Develop design criteria, requirements, and system-level optimization; rapid iteration.
  • Advance DFM with part and process count reductions and error-proofing at fabrication.
  • Establish efficient product lifecycle from supply chain to final integration with in-house production.

🎯 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
  • Experience with CAD and FEA software packages.
  • 1+ years of industry experience (internships/co-ops can apply).
  • Master’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in mechanical design and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience designing, building and testing electric or chemical propulsion systems.
