Sr. Salesforce Application Engineer

Elastic is seeking a Sr. Salesforce Application Engineer to design, develop, and optimize Salesforce solutions for our global customers. This role is based in Canada and involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable CRM capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Salesforce applications and integrations, including custom Apex code, Lightning Web Components, and data models.
• Design scalable Salesforce architectures that support business processes across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
• Build integrations with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Ensure data quality, security, governance, and compliance within Salesforce.
• Optimize performance and reliability; participate in CI/CD processes for Salesforce deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement timely fixes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Deep knowledge of Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via REST and SOAP APIs.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, sharing rules, and field-level security.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II) are a plus.
