Elastic delivers the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Beats, Logstash) and related cloud services. We are seeking a Sr. Salesforce Application Engineer to help integrate Salesforce with Elastic products and tailor Salesforce workflows to our customers.

Role Overview

As a Sr. Salesforce Application Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain Salesforce integrations that automate business processes and connect Salesforce with Elastic platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs.
• Lead integration projects between Salesforce and external systems (REST, SOAP, OAuth).
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Implement data migrations, data quality controls, and security models within Salesforce.
• Optimize performance and reliability of Salesforce integrations; write tests; participate in code reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and document solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura/LWC).
• Strong experience with Salesforce APIs, REST/SOAP, and integration patterns.
• Knowledge of Salesforce security model and data governance.
• Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, and/or Field Service.
• Proficient in Git, CI/CD, and Salesforce DX; test-driven development.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Elastic stack integration points is a plus.
