Overview
Elastic is seeking a Senior Support Engineer to join our Bangalore-based team. In this role you will provide advanced technical support for the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Elastic Cloud) and work closely with customers to resolve complex issues.
Responsibilities
- Provide proactive and reactive technical assistance to customers using Elasticsearch, Kibana, and related Elastic products
- Triage and troubleshoot customer incidents, reproduce issues, and drive root cause analysis
- Collaborate with Engineering and Solutions Architect teams to implement fixes and workarounds
- Prioritize and manage cases, maintain case documentation, and contribute to knowledge base
- Help customers optimize performance, reliability, and security of their Elastic deployments
Qualifications
- Strong experience with distributed search, logging, and monitoring stacks
- Hands-on knowledge of Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Elastic Cloud
- Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Experience on Linux/Unix environments; familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills; ability to explain complex technical topics clearly
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
