Overview

Elastic is seeking a Senior Analyst, Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting to support technical accounting research, financial reporting processes, and coordination with external auditors. This role focuses on US GAAP compliance, SEC reporting, and Sarbanes-Oxley controls, with collaboration across Finance and Audit teams.

Responsibilities

Conduct technical accounting research related to complex transactions under US GAAP.
Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and footnotes.
Support SEC reporting, earnings releases, and audit readiness.
Maintain and document SOX controls, processes, and control testing.
Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Internal Audit, and External Auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
3-5 years of accounting experience with a focus on technical accounting and financial reporting.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and familiarity with SEC reporting requirements.
Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
