About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven Mid-Market Account Executive to lead new business in the Southeast. You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery to close, working closely with Solutions Engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver tailored Elastic solutions to mid-market customers in the region.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of mid-market opportunities in the Southeast
- Qualify prospects, perform discovery, and identify customer pains and buying requirements
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and tailor value propositions to customer needs
- Collaborate with Solutions Engineers and post-sale teams to ensure successful deployments and renewals
- Forecast accurately, track progress against quota, and report insights to leadership
- Drive deal strategy, negotiation, and closing activities to achieve or exceed sales targets
- Travel within the Southeast region as required to engage with customers
Qualifications
- 4+ years of quota-bearing sales experience in mid-market or enterprise software
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders
- Experience selling data analytics, search, or cloud-based solutions is a plus
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales methodologies
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; willingness to travel within the region
