Elastic is seeking an Analyst, Sales Strategy & Finance to join our Revenue Operations team. This role partners with Sales, Finance, and go‑to‑market functions to drive data‑driven decisions, forecast revenue, and optimize sales strategies. You will translate complex data into actionable insights that support growth and profitability for Elastic.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales leadership to develop quarterly and annual revenue forecasts, territory plans, and quota pacing.
- Build and maintain financial models to analyze profitability, customer acquisition costs, and lifetime value.
- Create dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators using SQL, Excel, and BI tools.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to inform pricing, discounts, and GTM initiatives.
- Support headcount planning and budgeting for sales and revenue teams.
- Communicate insights to stakeholders with clear storytelling and data visualization.
Requirements
- Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in sales analytics, finance analytics, or revenue operations.
- Proficiency with SQL, Excel, and BI tools (Tableau, Looker, or Power BI).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
