We're looking for a Service Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for equipment management, process improvement, operational troubleshooting and analytics, and repair management ensuring performance and customer satisfaction.
You will work onsite at our San Jose, CA office reporting into the Director of Service Engineering & EHS.
Primary Responsibilities

Lead preventative maintenance program and implement work orders program to audit for accuracy and quality

Confirm work is connected to downstream workflows failure analysis and continuous improvement programs

Monitor and review plant data, analyze system performance metrics, and collaborate with the team to improve plant processes

Resolve technical issues and perform high-quality root cause analysis and implement and track success of corrective actions

Provide reports and presentations to track important goals across the plant

Create detailed service reports, work orders, maintenance logs, and failure analysis documents

Follow company and industry safety standards such as: OSHA, EPA, and NFPA
- Domestic and international travel for onsite service work (up to 50%)
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's in engineering related field
-
5+ years of experience with root-cause analysis, electrical systems, control systems, and fluid dynamics
- Experience developing service engineering programs such as: work orders, preventative maintenance, and failure analysis

Experience with computer software systems and contracts understanding

Experience with electrolysis, hydrogen systems, or industrial gas
-
Familiarity with PLC systems and remote monitoring tools

Experience with the implementation, rollout, and computerized maintenance management system (CMMS platform)

$127,000
—$149,000 USD
Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.
Base salary is just one part of Electric Hydrogen’s total rewards package. We feel strongly that our team should not have to worry about having quality healthcare. In addition to the base salary offered, the hired applicant may receive:
