📋 Description

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy for students with IDD/dual dx.
  • Use DIR/Floortime, ABA, or play therapy as appropriate.
  • Implement and monitor behavioral support plans, including Safety-Care interventions.
  • Conduct ongoing case management and coordination with families, schools, and providers.
  • Collaborate with teachers, paras, and related service providers for continuity of care.
  • Lead or co-facilitate professional learning and coaching sessions for staff.

🎯 Requirements

  • Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field.
  • Active New York State clinical license (LMHC or LMSW/LCSW).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with children/adolescents with IDD or dual dx.
  • Experience with behavioral interventions and crisis support; comfortable with physical intervention protocols.
  • Familiarity with DIR/Floortime, play therapy, or ABA preferred.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and coaching skills.
