• Develop and lead editorial content strategy for assigned team communities around major soccer moments.
• Develop policies and best practices for assigned team communities.
• Attend regular meetings to refine strategy, programming, and tactics to reach audience goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to boost engagement and refine SEO across platforms.
• Oversee editorial quality and accountability for team communities; manage sensitive reporting when needed.
• Hire and supervise site/community producers and coordinate coverage for tentpole events with teams.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3 years as a writer or editor, preferably in soccer.
• Strong knowledge of soccer, including European leagues and US national teams.
• Management or mentorship experience.
• Skills in content strategy, budgeting, SEO, and digital content creation.
• Ability to take direction, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Excellent attention to detail.
