🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years editing in a fast-paced digital newsroom; strong management experience.
• Strong editorial judgment and intellectual range.
• Clear philosophy on managing editors and writers; direct feedback with trust.
• Engagement with Future Perfect areas: AI, health, climate, philanthropy.
• Strategic thinker on editorial coverage for audience, membership, sustainability.
• Ability to work across text, audio, video; partner with podcast/video teams.
• Organized, self-starter; manage multiple teams and timelines.
• Comfort with web publishing: speed without sacrificing accuracy.
