📋 Description

• Define Cohere's editorial vision and standards.
• Build and run Cohere's publishing calendar across long-form channels.
• Commission writers, photographers, and producers; brief, edit, ship.
• Own long-form output across writing, film, photography, podcasts, and books.
• Manage editorial budgets, contracts, rights, and freelance operations.
• Integrate blog, newsletter, film, and podcast into one publisher.

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years in editorial leadership with a track record of long-form work.
• A portfolio of editorial work (written, filmed, edited, or commissioned).
• Strong editing at sentence and structural levels.
• Experience running a publishing operation: calendar, budget, rights, production.
• Cultural fluency across journalism, design, fashion, music, art, and the internet.
• Working network of writers, photographers, filmmakers, and producers.
