Ecommerce Industry Leader and Controller

📋 Description

• Own ecommerce client financials quality, accuracy, and reconciliation.
• Design and maintain repeatable ecommerce revenue workflows across channels.
• Manage sales tax payable and liabilities across channels.
• Drive COGS and inventory accuracy with reports and counts.
• Lead onboarding from systems assessment to implementation.
• Lead embedded strategic finance discussions using FP&A and client insights.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years ecommerce accounting across multiple entities
• Deep experience reconciling ecommerce platforms, marketplaces, processors, and banks
• Strong working knowledge of A2X, including Shopify and marketplace channels
• Advanced spreadsheet capability with payout and sales tax reconciliation templates
• Experience with sales tax tooling (TaxHero, Numeral, HOST, Avalara, TaxJar)
• Experience onboarding complex ecommerce companies into an accounting system
