We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our growing team. You'll build foundational components of complex connected medical devices.
You’ll work across multiple key areas as our product offerings scale; help shape the overall ecosystem of our product line; architect forward-looking designs to unify current and future ecosystem elements; and propagate a product launch mindset across the software team.
This is an individual contributor role with the potential for expanded responsibilities as our product and team evolve.
Develop high-quality medical applications in a variety of environments, including Rust on desktop, Python on servers, React on web, and others.
Contribute to critical design decisions across device, client, and server components.
Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing across the organization.
Work closely with other engineers and cross-functional teams to plan and build.
Document architectural designs and key decision-making processes.
Ensure compliance with medical software standards and regulations.
Follow best practices to create and maintain reproducible, clear, and highly documented code.
Significant experience in building production applications.
Proficiency in Python and at least one other language.
Experience in systems design and working with performance-critical code.
Strong understanding of data flows and API design.
Clear understanding of coding standards and documentation practices for production systems.
Experience building desktop, web, and server applications.
Familiarity with cybersecurity and privacy best practices.
Experience building HIPAA-compliant systems that handle PHI and PII.
Understanding of the end-to-end software lifecycle for medical data products, having shipped multiple items to production.
Familiarity with medical sensor data, time series data, and/or brain data.
