About the Role
Senior Portfolio Manager at Ebury leads the portfolio management activities across client portfolios, focusing on performance, risk management and strategic growth. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative fintech solutions in cross-border payments and FX management.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute portfolio strategy and governance for allocated client segments, aligning with business objectives.
- Monitor portfolio performance, benchmark against targets, and implement optimization actions.
- Lead risk management for portfolios, including credit, market, liquidity, and operational risks.
- Build strong partnerships with Sales, Compliance, Product, and Client Success to deliver value to clients.
- Develop and present performance reports to senior leadership and clients.
- Identify opportunities for product enhancements and process improvements to drive efficiency.
- Mentor junior portfolio staff and foster a data-driven decision-making culture.
- Ensure regulatory and internal policy compliance across all portfolio activities.
Requirements
- 7+ years in portfolio management, investment management, or fintech/payments, with a track record of delivering results.
- Strong quantitative skills: financial modeling, data analysis, and risk assessment.
- Experience with cross-border payments and FX risk management is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management; ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA/CAIA would be a plus.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting financial portfolios.
