Overview

As a Senior Data Engineer at Ebury, you will design and build robust data pipelines and platforms to enable analytics and data-driven decisions across the business. You will collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, analytics, product teams, and stakeholders to model data, improve data quality, and scale data solutions. This is a hands-on, senior role that requires strong technical expertise and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data models
Collaborate with analytics, product, risk, and software teams
Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance
Monitor performance, optimize ETL/ELT processes and costs
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural decisions

Requirements

5+ years of data engineering or related experience
Strong SQL and Python (or Scala/Java)
Experience with ETL/ELT, data warehousing, data modeling
Experience with cloud platforms and data tooling (Airflow, Spark, etc.)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field
