Job Description

Join Ebury, a leading fintech enabling businesses to manage cross-border payments and FX. Based in Marseille, the Junior FX Business Developer will join the sales team to grow our FX client base across France and Europe. You will support lead generation, client onboarding coordination, and ongoing relationship management to help SMEs optimize payments and manage FX risk.

Responsibilities

Assist with lead generation and qualification for FX solutions (payments, FX hedging, and related services).
Conduct market research to identify SMEs in Marseille and wider France that could benefit from Ebury's FX services.
Maintain and update the sales pipeline in the CRM, track opportunities, and coordinate product demonstrations.
Assist with onboarding new clients, ensuring compliance and a smooth setup for payments and FX.
Collaborate with Marketing, Compliance and Product to tailor FX solutions to client needs.
Monitor FX market trends and competitors to inform strategy and outreach.
Support post-sale client success and opportunities for upsell.

Requirements

0-2 years of experience in sales, business development or financial services; degree preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in French with business-level English.
Interest in financial markets and fintech; proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment; comfortable with ambiguity and change.
Proficient in using CRM systems and MS Office; willingness to learn banking/compliance requirements.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
